ABSTRACT
Objective: The Aim Of This Study Was To Evaluate Masticatory Performance Of Immediately Loaded Implants Splinted With SFI-Bar Used To Retain Mandibular Over Denture By ViewGum Software. Materials And Method: Six Completely Healthy Edentulous Patients Was Selected For This Study. Two Ossteointegrated Implant Fixtures Was Surgically Inserted In The Canine Areas; The Bar Abutments Was Screwed Into The Fixture Analogs, SFI-bar Adapters Were Connected To Each Implant Fixture. We Chosed The Categories Of Chewing Cycle Numbers (n=0, 5, 10, 20, 30, 50). Using A ?atbed Scanner For Scanning Each Specimen At A Resolution Of 500 Dpi And Analyzed By The Operator (DH) Using ViewGum Software.

Results: Digital Image Processing Approved A Signi?cant Relation Between Number Of Chewing Cycles And Colour Mixing (P <0.001).In This Study Hue Variation Decreased Significantly When Number Of Chewing Cycles Increased. Conclusion: SFI-bar Increasing Retention Which Improve Masticatory Efficiency. ViewGum Software Apply Simple And Speed Application In Evaluation Chewing Ef?ciency With Two-colour Chewing Gum With Using SFI-bar. Clinical Significance: Chewing Is A Complex Process Of Central Nervous System And Oro-facial Structures.
