ABSTRACT
Introduction : With The Increase Success Of Dental Implants , Researchers And Clinicians Have Turned Their Minds Towards Making The Treatment Duration Shorter And More Comfortable. Many Studies Have Been Conducted Using Various Grafting Materials In Conjunction With Implants For Sinus Membrane Elevation When Rehabilitating Partially Edentulous Maxilla. Materials And Methods : In This Study, We Have Included Fourteen Patients Were Included From Out-patient Clinic Of The Faculty Of Dentistry, Ain Shams University, Out Of Which Seven Patients Received Distal Implants After Sinus Membrane Elevation Using Alloplastic Bone Substitute While The Other Seven Patients Received Implants After Sinus Membrane Elevation Using An Alloplastic Bone Substitute And PRGF Mixed Together Forming Bone Matrix. The Patients Were Prospectively Evaluated For Implant Stability Clinically Using Resonance Frequency Analysis Reading With The Osstell Device.

Results: It Was Observed That Implant Placed At Sites Those Received PRGF Achieved Higher RFA Readings Sooner Than Those Placed At Sites Received Only The Alloplastic Bone Substitute. Conclusion: As An Outcome Of This Study, We Can Recommend PRGF As An Adjunct With Implants Inserted At Sites Of Sinus Membrane Elevation As It Improve The Success Rate And Decrease The Treatment Time.
