This Review Analyzes The Increase In Feminization In The Field Of Dentistry, As Well As The Implications Feminization Has On What Was Once Considered A Male-dominated Profession. It Also Evaluates The Factors Gender Roles Played Throughout. Through A Review Of Relevant Literature Pertaining To The Matter It Has Been Found That Significant Factors Within The Work Environment Influence The Progress Of Female Dentists, Alongside Issues Of Perception From Patients. These Effects Are More Pronounced Across Cultures Depending On Social Hierarchy; Cultural Dimensions Closely Correlate To Working Conditions And Dependent Variables Such As Pay Equality, Progression Opportunities And Socialization In The Workplace.
