ABSTRACT
Objectives: The Aim Of This Study Is To Evaluate The Clinical Performance Of Self Priming Composite Used As Pits And Fissure Sealant Versus Conventional Composite In Erupted Mandibular First Permanent Molars.
Materials and Methods: A Total Of 38 Children (8-10 Years), At High Caries Risk Were Included In The Study (Split Mouth Technique), Group A, One Mandibular First Molar Received And Group B, The Other Mandibular First Molar Received. Evaluation Of Sealant Retention And Development Of Caries Was Performed At Baseline, 2, 4 And 6 Months Using Modified Simonsen?s Criteria.
Results: Both Groups Showed A Significantly Proportion Of Successful Cases. Group (B) Showed A Significantly Higher Proportion Of Successful Cases Than Group (A).
Conclusion: By The End Of Follow Up, Clinpro Showed Better Performance Than Embrace Wetbond When Used As Pits And Fissure Sealant In First Permanent Molars.
