ABSTRACT
Objective: Skeletal And Dental Effect Of Facemask Therapy VS Modified Tandem Appliance In Maxillary Protraction Of Cleft Lip And Palate Patients Using Cone Beam Computerized Tomography.

Materials and Methods: The Material Consisted Of Pre-treatment And Post-treatment CBCT Of 10 Growing Children With Cleft Palate And Lip Patients With Retruded Maxilla Ranging In Age From 6 To 11 Years. Facemask Therapy Which Has Been Used Successfully For The Treatment Of Growing Class III Patients. Pre-treatment And Post-treatment CBCT Analyzed By On Demand 3D App Software Was Utilized For Linear And Angular Measurement, And Were Compared To Data From An Archived Data Of 10 Patients Treated With Modified Tandem Appliance

Results: Significant Improvement In Dental And Skeletal Relations. Conclusion: The Both Appliances Were Effective In Management Of Skeletal Class III Malocclusions Via Skeletal And Dental Effects.
