ABSTRACT

Aim: The Study Aimed To Assess Clinical Implant Stability & Pink Esthetic Score In The Socket Shield Technique With Immediate Temporization In The Maxillary Esthetic Zone.Methodology: Fourteen Patients Were Randomly Selected From The Outpatient Clinic Of The Implantology Department. They Were Treated With Immediate Implant Placement With Socket Shield Technique And Immediate Temporization In The Maxillary Anterior Region. The Patients Were Assigned To Be Treated Using 30 Titanium Implants.

Results: Means No Visual Change Of Bone Level From Preoperative And Post 6 Months X-ray, Mean PES Immediately Postoperative Was 10.1 + 1.4 That Increased To 11.6+1.4 Six Months Postoperative The Difference Was Statistically Significant( ? 0.05) , Mean Stability Immediately Postoperative Was 56.3+3.9 That Increased To 69.5+4.7 Six Months Postoperative The Difference Was Statistically Significant ( ? 0.05)Conclusion: Socket Shield Technique With Immediate Temporization Is A Viable Option For Immediate Replacement Of Teeth In The Esthetic Zone, Overcoming Dimension Bone Changes After Extraction And Soft Tissue Contour. The Contact Between The Rough Titanium Surface And The Tooth Surface In Immediate Implant Placement Simultaneously With Partial Extraction Therapy Technique Does Not Affect Implant Stability Or Osteointegration. Long Term Follows Up Studies Are Required To Confirmthe Long Term Stability Of The Technique. The Main Factor In Implant Placement Is The Proper Prosthetic Position, Either Contact Or Not With The Shield.
