ABSTRACT
Objective: The Aim Of The Present Study Was To Evaluate The Primary Stability Of Immediate, Custom Made Titanium Root Analogue Implant. Our Secondary Outcome Was To Evaluate Marginal Bone Changes At The Day Of The Implantation, And After 6 Months.
Materials and Methods: This Randomized Clinical Trial Was Conducted On 20 Patients To Evaluate The Primary Stability And The Marginal Bone Loss Of 10 Root-analogue DLMS Titanium Implants And 10 Immediate Conventional Titanium Implants At The Time Of Implant Insertion And After 6 Months Follow?up.
Results: This Approach Could Have Some Advantages, Such As Uncomplicated Immediate Implant Placement, And Decrease In Treatment Time With Fewer Surgical Interventions, With Increased Patient Comfort. Moreover, DLMS Produce Implants With Superior Mechanical Properties By Varying The Porosity Of The Bulk And Surface Material Thus Enhancing Osseointegration.
Conclusions: The Introduction Of DLMS May Signal The Start Of A New Revolutionary Era For Implant Dentistry. This Approach Of Custom-made RAI Immediately Following Extraction Is Minimally Invasive, Respects The Underlying Anatomy, And Is Efficientwith Increased Patient Acceptance. Within The Limits Of This Study, The Fabrication Of DLMS RAI Could Form An Alternative Method For Replacing Teeth Immediately After Extraction Further Long-term Studies With A Larger Sample Of Patients To Evaluate The Benefits Of This Technique
