ABSTRACT
Background: Magnetic Attachments, Which Have Been Used To Maintain The Stability Of Dentures Since The 1950s, Presented Several Advantages Including Long-lasting Constant Retentive Force, Reduced Lateral Forces, And Simplicity In Installation For Patients With Dexterity Problems. Aim; This Study Aims To Assess The Patient Satisfaction And Primary Implant Stability Of Dome Magnet Attachment Design Mandibular Overdenture Versus Patient Satisfaction And Primary Implant Stability Of Flat Magnetic Attachment Design Mandibular Overdentures With Immediate Loading. Methods: Fourteen Patients With Completely Edentulism Were Enrolled In This Study. Each Patient Received 2 Implants Between The Canine And Lateral Incisor Area In Both Side Regions. The Implants Were Loaded Immediately With Two Magnet Attachments Retained Over-dentures (flat, dome Magnetic Attachment). The Patient Satisfaction Will Be Measured In 2 Weeks (baseline) And After 12 Weeks By Denture Satisfaction Questionnaire And Implant, Stability Will Be Measured For Both Groups Using Smart Peg /osstell At The Day Of Implant Installation And After 2,4,8,12 Weeks.
Results: Assessment Of Patient Satisfaction After Twelve Weeks Of Implant Installation, The Statistically Significantdifference Between Group 1 And Group 2, Which Indicates That Group One Shows Better Improvement Than Group 2. Regarding The Amount Of Primary Implant Stability Change During Follow-up For Both Groups, According To The Average Of Two Groups At Eight And Twelve Weeks, We Concluded That Group 1 Had More Improvement Than Group 2. Conclusion: The Immediate Loading Of 2 Implants Using Magnet Attachment-retained Mandibular Over-dentures May Be A Viable Treatment Option In Cases Of Complete Arch Edentulism. Which The Patient?s General Satisfaction With Flatmagnetic Attachment Retained Overdentures Was Greater Than That For Dome Magnetic Attachments. The Implant Stability From Baseline To The Twelve-week Showed Flat Magnetic Attachment Better Than Dome Magnetic Attachment
