ABSTRACT

Aim: Investigating The Effect Of Immediate Temporization On The Pink Esthetics In Delayed Implants In Patients With Thin Gingival Biotype Associated With Subepithelial Connective Tissue Graft In The Maxillary Esthetic Zone.Methodology: 10 Patients Were Enrolled In The Study, Each With One Upper Missing Tooth In The Esthetic Zone, The Pink Esthetics Was Assessed As The Primary Outcome While The Keratinized Tissue Width, Soft Tissue Thickness, Were Assessed As The Secondary Outcomes.

Results: 10 Implants Were Placed In 10 Patients; One Implants Had Early Failure. No Patients Were Lost To Follow Up And All Of Them Completed Their 9 Months FU After The Delivery Of The Finalcrown. The PES Outcome After 1 Year Showed 11.29 (1.15). Regarding The Keratinized Tissue Width; The Reading Increased From 3.86 (0.63) At The Baseline To 4.57 (0.45) At 12 Months FU. As For The Soft Tissue Thickness, The Augmentation Procedure Was Successful, After 12 Months Follow Up, It Was 2.29 (0.57) At 2mm, 2.43 (0.35) At 4mm And 2.43 (0.35) At 6 Mm From The Gingival Margin. Conclusion: Immediate Temporization Exhibited Shorter Treatment Time And Yielded Patient Satisfaction In Terms Of Esthetics. Augmentation Of The Soft Tissues With Connective Tissue Graft Led To A Good Quality And Quantity Of Soft Tissue Around The Dental Implant Which In Turn Yielded Better Esthetics And Soft Tissue Stability Especially In Patients With Thin Gingival Biotype.
