ABSTRACT
Randomized Clinical Trial Was Carried Out To Compare The Retention Of Mandibular Complete Denture Constructed From Two Different Materials; Metal Reinforced Polyamide And Conventional PMMA. Twelve Completely Edentulous Patients. The Patients Were Divided Into Two Equal Groups, Group I Received Conventional Heat Cured Maxillary Denture And Metal Reinforced Polyamide Mandibular Denture And Group II Received Conventional Maxillary And Mandibular Heat Cured PPMA. Patients Of Both Groups Were Evaluated By Retention Measurements At The Time Of Prosthesis Insertion As Well As Three And Six Weeks Later By Digital Force Meter. The Results Of This Study Showed That Retention Measurements In Group I Were Greater Than That Of Group II At Time Of Denture Insertion, 3 Weeks And 6 Weeks Post Insertion.
