ABSTRACT
Objective: The Aim Of This, Randomized Control Trial Is To Compare Fracture Potential Of Posterior Zirconia Pediatric Crowns Cemented By Bio-active Cement Or Packable Glass Ionomer.
Study Design: This Study Was Carried Out On 50 Mandibular Primary Molars Of Children Less Than 7 Years Old. The Included Teeth Were Restored With Zirconia Pediatric Crowns, And Divided Into 2 Groups According To Luting Cement: 1. Bio-active Cement, 2. Packable Glass Ionomer. Crowns Were Evaluated For Fracture Potential (crack Formation).
Results: After 9 Months Follow Up; There Were No Cracks Formed On Any Crown Surface Along The Whole Period Of The Study For Both Study Groups.
Conclusions: Zirconia Pediatric Crowns Have Superior Fracture Resistance Regardless Of The Type Of Luting Cement Used.
