ABSTRACT
Introduction: The Aim Of The Study Was To Compare Between Lithium Disilicate Glass Ceramic (IPS E Max CAD), Zirconia And Zirconia Reinforced Lithium Silicate Glass Ceramic(Vita Suprinity) As Regard Weight Loss Due To A Corrosive Medium As Well As The Effect Of Corrosion On Their Flexural Strength.
Methods: 30 Samples Divided Into 3 Groups According To Ceramic Materials (10 Samples For Groupe 1 (e Max ),group 2 (VS) And Group 3 (bruxzirTM Zirconia).Then Further Each Group Divided Into Subgroup According To Test Method Which Are Corrosion Test And Biaxial Flexural Strength (BFS). 5 Samples For Biaxial Flexural Strength(controlled) And 5 Samples For The Biaxial Flexural Strength Test After Corrosion Test.using The Weight Loss To Determine The Corrosion Test And Using Universal Testing Machine . Statistical Analysis Was Performed With IBM? SPSS? Statistics Version 21 For Windows.
Result: It Was Found That There Was No Statistically Significant Difference Between (E-Max), (Vita Suprinity)and (Zirconia) Where (p=0.446) In BFS Test. And Also There Was A Statistically Significant Difference Between (E-Max), (Vita Suprinity) And (Zirconia) Where (p=0.001) In Corrosion Test .
Conclusion: Corrosion Did Not Affected The Flexural Strength Of All Tested Ceramics. Bruxzir Zirconia Recorded Less Weight Loss After Being Subjected To Corrosion Test Than IPS E-max CAD And Vita Suprinity .
